Considering an online store for your website 2016-10-24T10:47:49+00:00

So you are considering starting an online store for your website? There are a few things to consider before making this plunge…

If you want to take credit card payments you will first need a IMF (Internet Merchant Facility) from your bank.  Then you will need to set up an account with an online gateway.  We recommend www.eway.com.au  They will charge you a yearly fee and a fee per transaction.

On top of this you will also need to purchase an SSL for your online store (A secure page for the payments to go through on your website) we can arrange this for you.  This is charged annually.  This price starts at $160 per year.

The cheaper option is to just use paypal for your payment option on the website.  You can pay with Visa or Mastercard these days without needing a paypal account so this is a wonderful option.  Paypal does charge a fee on each transaction.  You can see the fees here..
